A two-day vintage poster exhibition & live concert series to support Addi Road's food relief & CrewCare's roadie & crew support work

For two days and nights, Addison Road Community Centre in Marrickville will host some of the biggest names in Sydney's music scene. Sevenways Health Centre Bondi, in conjunction with Addi Road and CrewCare presents Open the Vault, a live music festival and vintage poster exhibition in aid of two charities providing vital grassroots support to their communities.On display will be a rare collection of local and international Indie, Punk, Soul, Funk and Rock 'n' Roll poster memorabilia that spans three decades..Event tickets are for two-hour brackets over the weekend of the 5th and 6th of December that include entry to the exhibition held in Gumbramorra Hall, where Addi Road volunteers have been packing and distributing food hampers since COVID hit Sydney in March.Each two-hour ticket includes the vintage posters exhibition, access to a bar and food vendors, a DJ and slide show, plus a live music performance.Ticket numbers for each bracket are limited in line with public health guidelines.All proceeds will go to helping Addi Road continue its food justice work, providing healthy basics for people from all walks of life experiencing food insecurity, no questions asked, and to helping CrewCare's mental health and social support work for live production professionals and their families affected by this year's venue closures.'By bringing great music and social justice together in the same room something good can happen.' - Bartley Melocco, Founder of Sevenways Health Centre.


SATURDAY 5th of December

11am-1pm: Adams Hut with Linda Jansen from Wicked Beat Sound System and Adam Cox ex Good Buddha.
1pm-3pm: Fifty Million Beers George Jones's illegitimate sons - Charlie Maclean, Mark Cornwall, Ross Fothringham, Graeme Griffiths & Lochie Dengate.
3pm-5pm: Ilan Kidron from the Potbeleez, with Harry Sunderland, Hamish Stuart, Jonathan Zwartz.5pm-7pm: Psychedelic Blues Band The PINKS - Reg Mombassa, Andrew Doherty, Continental Robert Susz, Hamish Stuart, Brendan Gallagher and Jonathan Zwartz.
7pm-9pm: Genesis Owusu's Black Dog Jams - Kofi Owusu, Andrew Klippel, Kirin Callinan, Michael Di Francesco & Julian Sudek.


SUNDAY 6th of December

DJs Lady Chika & Kween G
11am-1pm: La Boheme - Colombian quartet inspired by art and community spirit.
1-3pm: Ray Beadle Organ Trio with Clayton Doley and Andrew Dickeson.
3-5pm: Friends of El Taller featuring Justo Diaz and Fernando Coloma.5pm-7pm: AfroMbollo featuring Yacou Mbaye and Kween G Kibone.
