Every industry struggles with bullying and harassment, and the live performance industry is no exception. CrewCare wish to change these attitudes, and the culture that unfortunately still exists in this day and age. We have launched our At NO Stage campaign to raise awareness of their harmful effects and provide ways in which to mitigate and eradicate these pervasive problems.

Who wants to work in a hostile environment? With the recent introduction of the federal government's Respect@Work legislation, there is a new positive duty on employers and organisations to prevent workplace sexual harassment, discrimination and victimisation.

Support Act's Minimum Standards for a Mentally Healthy Music Industry have been developed in consultation with representatives from the music industry and regulatory authorities in line with the National Mental Health Commission’s Respect@Work legislation. (Click here for more information).

They seek to encourage action to protect, respond, and promote the positive aspects of work that contribute to good mental health.

This includes a commitment to provide workplaces that are psychologically safe, and which take proactive measures to address safety at work issues including bullying, harassment, discrimination, sexual misconduct, racism, ageism, homophobia and transphobia.
