Heritage Highway is a celebration of artists and bands who helped shape Australia's cultural music heritage. In the late 70's, and throughout the 80's, Australian music defined itself and was taken to the world stage.
Drawn from a diverse range of influences, across our vast country, many of these artists continue to perform to this day. Now they are bringing their unique brand of Aussie rock to the areas that nurtured their formative years.
Heritage Highway is more than a live show. It showcases each act's journey in a series of music masterclasses, live releases and performances in the rural areas and towns that collectively gave rise to their success. It involves the whole community and embraces local talent, songwriters and music workers from each area, whilst bringing the songs we all love to the wider population.
Heritage Highway follows the road less travelled to Nambour, Gympie and Maryborough in October this year. For more information visit: www.heritagehighway.org.au
